On Thursday, March 19, 2026, in the final phase of the qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup in Morocco (October-November 2026), our Grenadières faced the United States at the Costa Rican Football Federation Stadium, where they suffered a heavy defeat [0-9].

Starting XI : French coach Marc-Ogil Frenoy Baptiste has announced his starting eleven for the Grenadières to face the United States in a crucial match to get back on track in Group B. Changes: Laititia Décombe will start in place of Léa Jacques, who is relegated to the bench, and Kaylee Mallebranche will start in place of Ductan Samira Olisia.

Summary : Our U-17 Grenadières, after their 3-1 defeat against Puerto Rico, suffered a heavy 9-0 loss to the United States, who were largely dominant in this match that highlighted the gap in level between the two teams. Despite their determination and commitment, our girls were never able to contain the American attacks.

With this defeat, our Grenadières missed the opportunity to represent Haiti at the 2026 FIFA Women's World Cup in Morocco. Our Grenadières will try to finish on a positive note against their final opponent, Bermuda, on Sunday, March 22.
